Dubai South opens a facility "RH Aero" Aviation equipment and services
Dubai, February 18 / WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project in Dubai South announced today the official opening of the “RH Aero” facility, which represents its new regional center for aircraft ground support equipment services and engine and chassis tool maintenance solutions, to serve the markets of the Middle East, Africa and India as part of its global expansion strategy.
The new facility extends over an area of approximately 2,800 square metres, distributed over four adjacent sections with an area of 700 square meters each.
The opening ceremony was attended by Tahnoun Saif, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project, and Martin Dear, Executive Vice President of RH Aero in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India, along with a number of senior executives from both sides.
The new facility provides services that include inspection, testing, calibration and recertification, in addition to maintenance, repair and refurbishment of ground support equipment and aircraft instruments. It also provides load testing services, modification and modernization programmes, technical support, field service and assistance in cases of parked aircraft.
Tahnoun Saif said: The opening of the new “RH Aero” service center represents an important milestone in our efforts to enhance Dubai’s position as a global center of excellence in the aviation sector, and the presence of prestigious international companies such as this company within the Mohammed bin Rashid Aviation Project system reflects the great confidence that international companies place in the integrated infrastructure and the strategic location that the project offers in Dubai South.
For his part, Martin Deer stressed that choosing Dubai South to establish this regional center comes within the framework of the company’s strategy to expand its global presence and improve its services to its customers in the region.
