Humaid bin Rashid directs the launch of an air bridge to provide relief to Gaza coinciding with the month of Ramadan

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, directed the launch of a humanitarian air bridge to relieve the Gaza Strip, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, as part of Operation “Galant Knight 3” to support the Palestinian people and alleviate their suffering in light of the current circumstances.

The bridge will be allocated to transport various relief aid, including food parcels, health materials, and supplies for children and women, in addition to urgent basic needs, which will contribute to supporting the affected families and meeting their living needs during the holy month.

The launch of the air bridge comes with the participation of a number of charitable organizations in the Emirate of Ajman, namely the Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation, the International Charitable Organization, the Emirates Red Crescent, the Al Ihsan Charitable Society, and the Al Ittihad Charitable Foundation, which will prepare the aid and coordinate the shipping and delivery operations, ensuring its rapid arrival to those who deserve it.

His Highness the Ruler of Ajman stressed that this initiative stems from the UAE’s consistent humanitarian approach in supporting those affected and extending a helping hand in times of distress, noting that supporting Gaza is a fraternal and humanitarian duty that reflects the authentic values ​​on which the state was founded.

His Highness said that standing by the people of Gaza is a responsibility that we fulfill out of belief in our humanitarian duty and out of a desire to alleviate the suffering of the affected families, especially in a month in which the meanings of mercy and solidarity are evident.

His Highness added that the Emirate of Ajman, with its charitable institutions, will continue to perform its national role in coordination with the relevant authorities, to ensure the continuity and efficiency of support, stressing that the UAE will remain at the forefront of countries supporting humanitarian efforts regionally and internationally.
