British stocks…the London Stock Exchange index closes up by 0.56%

Close Chairman () today, an increase of (0.56) percent.
The index, which includes the 100 largest companies in the region, achieved – gains equivalent to (59.85) points, reaching the level of (10,686.89) points.
Inflation in the United Kingdom
The inflation rate in the United Kingdom declined significantly during January, falling to its lowest level in nearly a year.
This enhances the possibility of the Bank of England moving to cut interest rates during its next meeting.
This comes in light of signs Data from the British Office for National Statistics showed that consumer prices rose by 3.0% year-on-year in January.
This compared to an increase of 3.4% in December, driven by a slowdown in the pace of rise in transport, food and non-alcoholic beverage prices.
