195 million dirhams, the size of the International Charitable Organization’s projects in 2025

Ajman, February 21 / WAM / During the year 2025, the International Charitable Organization continued to strengthen its humanitarian role inside and outside the UAE, with a total of projects worth 195 million dirhams, distributed between 170 million dirhams for projects inside the country, and 25 million dirhams for external projects, in embodiment of the UAE’s vision to consolidate institutional charitable work and enhance sustainability in humanitarian initiatives.

The Authority announced the completion, implementation and construction of 140 integrated charitable complexes outside the country worth 25 million dirhams, which targeted less developed communities and contributed to improving the quality of life and enhancing societal stability in those communities.

The charitable complexes implemented by the Authority included mosques, schools, water wells, and health centers, in addition to other service facilities that meet the basic needs of the population, which reflects an integrated development approach that links education, health, water, and worship within a long-term sustainable framework.

His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al Khaja, Secretary General of the International Charitable Foundation, confirmed that implementing 140 charitable complexes in one year reflects the scale of the efforts made by the work teams and partners, and embodies the Authority’s commitment to providing integrated development projects that leave a sustainable impact on the lives of the beneficiary communities, in line with the UAE’s approach to extending a helping hand to those in need around the world without discrimination.

He pointed out that thousands of families and individuals have benefited from the Authority’s projects within the UAE, which amounted to 170 million dirhams during the year 2025, stressing that these projects translate the Authority’s vision and approach in promoting community solidarity and consolidating the values ​​of giving.

He explained that local projects have diversified to include providing assistance to national families, paying tuition fees for struggling students, supporting health conditions and covering the costs of treatment and surgeries, in addition to programs to support students at various educational levels, sponsoring orphans, and other humanitarian initiatives targeting the most needy groups within the country.

Al Khaja said that these efforts and achievements were achieved with the support of philanthropists and benefactors, stressing that the Authority is continuing to develop its programs and expand its community partnerships, in a way that enhances the efficiency of performance and ensures that support reaches those who deserve it in all transparency and speed, while launching specific initiatives that keep pace with the needs of society and support the process of sustainable development in the country.
