Mansour bin Zayed and Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed attend the Abu Dhabi Government Ramadan Majlis “Abu Dhabi Barza” at Qasr Al Hosn

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Office attended; His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the activities of the Abu Dhabi Government Ramadan Council “Barzat Abu Dhabi”, organized by the Abu Dhabi Media Office at Qasr Al Hosn from February 21 to 26.
Their Highnesses exchanged congratulations and blessings with the leaders and employees of government agencies and their family members on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, calling on God Almighty to return these blessed days to the UAE, its leadership, its people and the residents of its land with goodness, right and blessings, and to perpetuate the blessing of security, safety, stability and prosperity to the nation.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the Ramadan councils represent a space to enhance communication and consolidate the values of cohesion among members of society, noting that the meeting of Abu Dhabi government employees and their families in the “Barzat Abu Dhabi” council embodies the spirit of the one family on which the UAE society is based and coincides with the declaration of the year 2026 as the Year of the Family.
His Highness said that the holy month of Ramadan is an occasion in which the meanings of goodness and giving are renewed, and the spirit of rapprochement and joint work is strengthened, which contributes to consolidating a government work system that derives its strength from cooperation and the spirit of one team, and contributes to continuing the process of development and nation-building.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the “Abu Dhabi Barzah” initiative, and the extension of the Ramadan community councils it represents, reflects the Abu Dhabi government’s approach to establishing a positive and motivating work culture, based on achieving a balance between the requirements of work and family life, in a way that supports the sustainability of institutional excellence, and enhances the efficiency of government performance and the quality of its outputs.
His Highness added that the coincidence of organizing the initiative with the declaration of 2026 as the Year of the Family embodies the vision of the wise leadership in consolidating the role of the family as a basic pillar of societal and institutional stability, and contributes to building a more efficient and cohesive government system, capable of continuing the national development process in the spirit of one team.
The “Abu Dhabi Barzah” initiative is an opportunity to enhance institutional cohesion and consolidate the culture of work with a team spirit within the Abu Dhabi government system, considering the Ramadan councils as an extension of the values of Emirati society that draw on the principles of brotherhood and solidarity among its members, in support of efforts and initiatives to build a more harmonious and interconnected work environment, which reflects positively on the quality and sustainability of government work performance.
The organization of “Barza Abu Dhabi”, in its edition this year, coincides with the declaration of 2026 as the Year of the Family, in line with the vision of the wise leadership to empower the family and consolidate its pivotal role as a basis for society’s stability and prosperity. The participation of employees’ families in these community events contributes to enhancing the balance between professional and family life, to support the building of a cohesive government society that continues to contribute effectively and efficiently to the comprehensive national development process.
The employees’ families and families participated in the cultural and entertainment programs accompanying “Barza Abu Dhabi”, which included interactive handicraft workshops, art exhibitions, and live heritage and musical performances, which reflect the authenticity and nobility of the Emirati cultural heritage and contribute to consolidating the values of national identity among present and future generations.
“Barza Abu Dhabi” was attended by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs; Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; And a number of ministers, senior officials and leaders of government agencies in Abu Dhabi.
