Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Charity"/Sustainable efforts to develop the housing sector in Umm Al Quwain

Umm Al Quwain, February 22nd / WAM / The Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation plays a prominent role in supporting family stability and enhancing its cohesion in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, through an integrated system of initiatives and projects that are consistent with the goals of the “Year of the Family” in the UAE, which contributes to consolidating community unity and improving the quality of life.

In this context, residential complex projects formed one of the most prominent and influential areas of the Foundation’s work, as it began implementing its residential projects in the Tolerance Neighborhood (1), which included 32 homes that were delivered during the Year of Tolerance 2019, before completing the project by implementing the Tolerance Neighborhood (2) with 78 homes, in addition to 40 homes in the Oud Al Tayer area, bringing the total number of homes implemented to 150 homes.

The Foundation confirmed that these projects came in accordance with an integrated vision that takes into account the human and social dimension, as the idea of ​​architectural unity was applied, in addition to adhering to the standards of the green building evaluation system, taking into account the nature of the citizen family and its needs, in a way that ensures stability and happiness for the beneficiaries, and enhances the quality of the residential environment.

Based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, and with the follow-up of Sheikh Majid bin Saud Al Mualla, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, the Foundation built 186 residential villas in a number of areas of the emirate, as part of an integrated plan aimed at meeting the needs of eligible groups.

These projects included 110 homes in the Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mualla neighborhood, 56 homes in the Sheikh Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi neighborhood, in addition to 20 homes in the Al Raafa area, which reflects the breadth of the residential projects implemented by the organization and the diversity of its geographical locations within the emirate.

The Foundation continues its charitable work according to a comprehensive development vision, which is based on moving from the concept of immediate aid to a sustainable institutional approach concerned with providing the elements of living and social stability for families, most notably residential stability, as it is a basic pillar for achieving family balance and promoting community integration.

Rashid Al Hamar, Director of the Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, stressed the Foundation’s keenness for charitable housing projects to be a fundamental pillar in supporting family stability, in line with the objectives of the Year of the Family, and in the belief that adequate housing represents the basis for achieving social security and quality of life for citizen families.

He explained that the implementation of residential projects is carried out according to advanced planning and construction standards, taking into account sustainability and the human dimension, and providing an integrated living environment that contributes to enhancing family stability and happiness, and in providing an integrated residential environment that meets the needs of citizen families, and enhances their sense of security and stability, which reflects positively on their social cohesion and psychological stability, and enhances their ability to continue their active role within society.

He pointed out that the Foundation measures the social impact of its projects and programs, and uses the evaluation results to develop initiatives and enhance their efficiency, ensuring the sustainability of the positive impact of these projects and achieving their humanitarian and development goals in the long term.

He said that the next phase will witness the continued expansion of charitable housing projects and the development of more sustainable housing models, thus enhancing the Foundation’s role as an active partner in achieving the goals of the “Year of the Family” and consolidating its humanitarian mission in serving society.

He stressed the commitment of the Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation to continue its role in supporting the Emirati family and enhancing its social stability, in line with the UAE’s approach and its established values ​​in charitable and humanitarian work, and in a way that supports the process of comprehensive and sustainable development in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain.
