8 teams compete in the Al Furjan Ramadan Championship in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah, 23 February / WAM / Eight teams representing the various emirates of the country and a number of nationalities and resident communities are participating in the 14th edition of the Al Furjan Ramadan Football Championship, organized by the Emirates Society for Social Development at the association’s stadium in Ras Al Khaimah, in a sports scene that reflects the spirit of fraternal competition and community cohesion in a distinctive Ramadan atmosphere.

The organizing committee has allocated valuable financial prizes to motivate the participating teams, in addition to individual prizes and special honors that will be announced during the tournament.

Khalaf Salem bin Anbar, Chairman of the Championship Organizing Committee and Director General of the Emirates Society for Social Development, confirmed that the Al Furjan Championship represents an advanced model of institutional community work based on sustainability and positive impact. He said: “We view the championship as a national platform that enhances community cohesion and translates the vision of our wise leadership in making sport a way of life and a tool for human building, especially in the holy month in which the values ​​of cooperation, tolerance and solidarity are evident.”
