" Edge" and" EM&E " They sign an agreement to establish a joint venture in the Emirates

Madrid, February 25 / WAM / The Emirati Edge Group and the Spanish EM&E Group have concluded an agreement to discuss launching an existing joint project in the UAE, based on an expected commercial line of business worth approximately 1.5 billion US dollars. The signing ceremony took place yesterday at the headquarters of the EM&E Group, in the presence of His Excellency Saleh Ahmed Salem Al-Zuraim Al Suwaidi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Kingdom of Spain.
The agreement was signed by Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of EDGE Group, and Fernando Fernandez, CEO of EM&E Group. Under the agreement, the Spanish group will provide the latest technology in advanced remote-controlled weapons station systems to the UAE and other international markets, in addition to expanding in the future the joint development of new defense systems through a joint project intended to be established in the UAE.
The new company will contribute to building specialized cadres within the UAE in the fields of sales, engineering, and program management, providing qualitative job opportunities in advanced defense technology, and supporting the joint development of future systems and the adaptation of existing systems.
In this context, Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of EDGE Group, said: “Our partnership with the EM&E Group strengthens our presence in strategic markets and accelerates the development of our capabilities in advanced weapons systems.
