Dubai Commodities is preparing to launch a new framework that expands wealth management solutions for private institutions

The Dubai Multi Commodities Center announced its readiness to launch the “Private Institutions” framework within its free zone, in a step that represents the next stage of the expansion of its specialized platform in institutional structuring and wealth management.
The proposed regulatory framework is currently undergoing the final stages of regulatory review, and will provide companies, investors, family offices, and private wealth owners with a flexible structure compatible with the best international standards, designed to support succession planning, long-term asset acquisition, wealth preservation, and governance arrangements.
This initiative comes in the wake of the successful launch of DMCC Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV) and Holding Company (HoldCo) licenses during 2025, which contributed to expanding the structuring options available to companies operating across global markets. The “Private Institutions” framework will enhance the center’s offerings by providing an additional tool specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of private wealth clients, entrepreneurs, family businesses, and investment structures seeking to ensure long-term continuity and promote effective governance.
The first CEO and Executive Director of the Dubai Multi Commodities Center, Ahmed bin Sulayem, said: “In light of the continuing transformations witnessed in global wealth flows, and the increasing trend of family offices, private wealth investors and entrepreneurs towards more advanced structuring solutions, the Dubai Multi Commodities Center is committed to continuing to develop its system to keep pace with their changing needs. “The launch of the Private Enterprise Structures Framework represents the next step in expanding our corporate structuring platform.”
The proposed framework was developed based on extensive consultations with various stakeholders in the market, in addition to comprehensive comparative studies of international best practices, reflecting DMCC’s commitment to maintaining an advanced regulatory environment that responds to the changing requirements of companies and investors around the world.
