The Minister of Industry discusses mining investment opportunities with Kazakh companies
Contract and mineral resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, a series of bilateral meetings in Astana today, with leaders of a number of companies The meetings discussed aspects of joint investment cooperation in the mining sector, opportunities to expand partnership horizons in the strategic minerals sector, and rare earth elements, and reviewed the promising opportunities available in the fields of mining exploration, transfer of knowledge and technologies and exchange of experiences in the field of geological surveying and sustainable mining.
Minister Al-Khorayef’s meetings with leaders of Kazakh companies included: a meeting with the CEO of Tau-Ken Samruk Company, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of KAZ Company. Minerals, and the CEO of Kazatomprom.
These meetings come within the framework of the Kingdom’s efforts to expand its international partnerships, attract qualitative investments, and strengthen its position as a global center for mining and minerals, in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the comprehensive strategy for mining and mineral industries.
