The UAE refutes the false accusations made by a party to the conflict in Sudan whose hands are stained with the blood of its people

The United Arab Emirates confirmed that it is exercising its right to respond to the false and baseless accusations made earlier today by a party to the conflict in Sudan whose hands are stained with the blood of its people.
The Permanent Representative of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Deputy Shahad Matar, said in her intervention within the country’s participation in the 61st session of the Human Rights Council held in Geneva: This is only the latest failed attempt to preach to this hall on the rule of law, while he stands accused of committing war crimes against his own people and has systematically, time after time, undermined any sincere regional and international effort to reach a diplomatic solution to the conflict… and without With calculated indifference to the suffering of the Sudanese people, they have committed documented violations of human rights and international humanitarian law, systematically obstructing humanitarian access, attacking civilian infrastructure, and carrying out summary executions and acts of sexual and gender-based violence.
She added that the same representative who accuses my country failed to ensure impartial investigations or achieve any real accountability, not to mention the actual links to extremism towards this party in the conflict, which is a matter of great concern to my delegation and to the international community as a whole.
