Contributions to the “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, to provide at least one billion dirhams to be invested in combating child hunger in the world, reached more than 460 million dirhams, a week after its launch.

This outcome came from the donations of major shareholders, businessmen, individuals, companies, and institutions of the government and private sectors, in a large community interaction with the campaign, which reflects the inherent values ​​of goodness in the Emirati society, and its keenness to support the campaign’s objectives to provide food and protect children from hunger according to a clear methodology, in addition to promoting the values ​​of compassion, solidarity, and empathy, and extending a helping hand to the most needy groups.

The “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation falls under the umbrella of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives” Foundation, and comes in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Save the Children, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, and Action Against Hunger.

The Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, confirmed that the “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” in establishing a sustainable humanitarian approach that elevates charitable work from the scope of immediate response to a system of long-term solutions, based on investing resources efficiently in qualitative programs that address the root causes of security challenges.
