The UAE condemns in the strongest terms the blatant Iranian missile attacks that targeted the country and sister countries

The United Arab Emirates expressed its condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the blatant Iranian missile attacks that targeted the country and a number of sister countries in the region, considering these actions as a blatant violation of national sovereignty and a clear violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the UAE’s full solidarity and support for the sisterly countries affected by this targeting, stressing that the security of the sisterly countries is indivisible, and that any infringement on the sovereignty of any of them is considered an infringement on the security and stability of the entire region.

The state also affirmed its categorical rejection of using the lands of countries in the region as arenas for settling scores or expanding the conflict, warning of the dire consequences of the continuation of these violations, which undermine regional and international security and threaten the stability of the global economy and energy security.

The UAE renewed its call for restraint and to resort to diplomatic solutions and serious dialogue, stressing that this path is the best way to overcome the current crises and preserve the security of the region and the stability of its people, stressing at the same time that it reserves its full and legitimate right to respond to these attacks in a way that guarantees the protection of its sovereignty, national security, and the safety of its lands, citizens, and residents in accordance with international law, and that it will not be lax in protecting its security and sovereignty under any circumstances.

The UAE offered its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family and relatives of the victim of Pakistani nationality who passed away as a result of these attacks, expressing its full solidarity with them, stressing that targeting civilians and civilian objects is condemned and rejected by all legal and humanitarian standards.
