The Council of Muslim Elders strongly condemns the blatant Iranian attacks on the Emirates and a number of Arab countries

The Council of Muslim Elders condemned the blatant Iranian attacks that targeted the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, stressing that these attacks represent a dangerous escalation and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.
In a statement issued today, the Council expressed its full solidarity with the UAE and all the sisterly Arab countries that have been targeted and whose sovereignty has been violated, despite their declared refusal to use their lands in any attacks against Iran, stressing its categorical rejection of using the lands of the countries of the region as arenas for settling scores or expanding the scope of the conflict.
He warned of the dire consequences of continuing such violations that affect the sovereignty and security of states and endanger civilian objects and the lives of innocent people.
The Council called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities, work to stop the war, and spare the region and the world from more wars and conflicts that threaten peace and security, and expose the lives of innocent civilians and vital installations to danger, stressing the importance of self-restraint, giving priority to the voice of wisdom, and resorting to serious dialogue and diplomatic solutions to preserve the security and stability of the region.
