Khamenei was killed in the early hours of Saturday in his office
Iranian official media reported early today, Sunday, the death of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and explained that he was killed in the early hours of yesterday, Saturday, in his office.
Iranian state television and the official IRNA news agency announced the death of the 86-year-old man, without explaining the cause of death.
US President Donald Trump said hours ago that Khamenei was killed in a joint US-Israeli operation targeting Iran.
