The Prime Minister of Montenegro affirms his country’s solidarity with the UAE following the Iranian attacks on its territory

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and Milojko Spajic, Prime Minister of the Republic of Montenegro, discussed today, during a phone call, the developments taking place in the region in light of the military escalation and its repercussions on its security and stability.

During the call, he expressed his country’s condemnation of the blatant Iranian attacks on the territory of the UAE and a number of sister countries, stressing that they are a serious violation of the sovereignty of these countries and a threat to their security and stability, in addition to violating the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

For his part, His Highness the President thanked the Prime Minister for Montenegro’s position in support of the UAE.

The two sides stressed the need to stop the escalation and return to dialogue and diplomatic means to prevent the situation from worsening and the conflict expanding, which would put the region at a dangerous juncture of turmoil and instability.
