4 people arrested in London on suspicion of spying for Iran

The British Metropolitan Police announced the arrest of four men on suspicion of carrying out espionage activities on behalf of Iran that targeted the Jewish community in London.
Police said the investigation relates to surveillance of locations and people in the London area.
She explained that an Iranian man and three people holding dual British and Iranian nationalities were arrested after one o’clock in the morning in Barnet and Harrow, north of London, and Watford in the county of Hertfordshire.
It was reported that the arrests were made on suspicion of assisting a foreign intelligence service under the National Security Law of 2023, as part of an investigation led by anti-terrorism police.
