The Head of State receives a phone call from the Finnish President, during which he affirmed solidarity with the UAE following the Iranian attacks

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, addressing the serious repercussions of the military escalation taking place in the region on regional security and stability.

During the call, the President of Finland affirmed Finland’s solidarity with the UAE following the blatant Iranian attacks targeting its lands and a number of sister countries in the region, and its support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its lands and citizens.

For his part, His Highness the President thanked the Finnish President for his country’s position in support of the UAE.

The two sides stressed the need to stop the military escalation to avoid expanding the conflict in the region, as this would have serious repercussions on regional security and stability.
