Prohibition of photographing or publishing defensive operations, unit positions, or movements of military vehicles and systems

The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force announced the prohibition of photographing or publishing defense operations, units’ positions, or the movements or recirculation of military vehicles and systems, in order to ensure the security and safety of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to preserve its supreme interests in light of the current exceptional circumstances and the blatant Iranian aggression the country is exposed to, and based on what was stipulated in Article (17 bis) of the Military Justice Law of 2002 and Article (135) of the Penal Code of 2002. 1976 AD.
The Bahrain Defense Force confirmed the prohibition of photographing, publishing, or recirculating any photos, video clips, recordings, or information related to its military sites, or military operations and defensive measures taken by it. The prohibition also includes promoting unreliable information or fabricated content using modern technologies related to events, attacks, and assaults targeting the homeland, through traditional media, digital platforms, and social media, whether this is done directly or indirectly.
It indicated that this ban includes everything that would endanger national security, facilitate the targeting of military installations or vital sites subject to the Bahrain Defense Force, or negatively affect the conduct of ongoing defense operations. As this may result in harming the safety of the forces and the security of the nation, citizens and residents alike.
The Bahrain Defense Force stressed that violating the provisions of this statement constitutes a clear violation of the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom, and exposes its perpetrators to legal accountability and prosecution in accordance with the provisions of the law.
The Bahrain Defense Force calls on all citizens and residents to assume their national responsibilities, fully adhere to these instructions, and be careful to obtain information from its approved official sources only. It also calls for complete distancing from military sites and convoys. In support of national efforts aimed at protecting the nation, preserving its security and stability, and ensuring the safety of all, may God protect Bahrain, its leadership, army and people, from all harm.
