Readers of Sharjah and its suburbs celebrate the nights of the holy month

Sharjah, 5 March / WAM / The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department continues to implement an integrated system of Quranic programs during the month of Ramadan, including the “Sharjah Readers” program, which includes an elite group of distinguished reciters who take turns leading worshipers in a number of the emirate’s mosques.
The “Sharjah Suburbs Readers” program also comes as confirmation of the department’s keenness to ensure that the programs are comprehensive and reach the various residential areas in the emirate, as a number of imams and reciters from the suburbs are allocated to take turns leading the worshipers in one of the suburb’s mosques.
The department implements the “Emirates Readers” program in cooperation with the Holy Quran Radio and Channel from Sharjah.
In the context of paying attention to scientific specialization in the sciences of the Holy Qur’an, the department organizes the “Ten Recitations” program at the Imam Al-Nawawi Mosque in Al-Manakh area, under the supervision of specialized reciters and imams.
The Ramadan plan also includes allocating a number of the emirate’s mosques to Qur’anic completion mosques, in commemoration of the year of concluding the Holy Qur’an in the blessed month of Ramadan.
