The Theater Authority concludes the theatrical decoration design workshop with the participation of 30 trainees in Riyadh

Concluded Theatre Organizationand performing arts design workshop Theatrical Decorationwhich was held in the city of Riyadh, with the participation of 30 male and female trainees, as part of a program "From idea to stage"It aims to develop the skills of practitioners and those interested in theater and performing arts, and to empower national talents with the tools of professional theatrical work.

The workshop witnessed the implementation of practical applications that enabled participants to transform dramatic ideas into visual perceptions that can be implemented on stage, through designing integrated theatrical scenes and employing various decorative elements.

It included The training program was an intensive course that spanned five days, with a total of 20 training hours, focusing on developing the skills of creative expression and building the theatrical image, exploring the relationship between design and drama, and taking advantage of environmental elements and recycling materials to produce innovative artistic visualizations.

The program also dealt with the foundations of theatrical design and its elements, and the artistic curricula associated with it and their practical applications, in addition to developing the participants’ abilities to translate dramatic texts and ideas into visual designs that reflect the artistic vision of theatrical performances.

It is noteworthy that the program "From idea to stage" It continues until August 2026 AD, and includes more than 30 specialized training workshops covering the fields of performance, writing, directing, theatrical design and artistic management, with the aim of developing national competencies, supporting practitioners, and enhancing the quality of theatrical production in the Kingdom.
