For the second day in a row… Emirati mediation

The United Arab Emirates announced the success of new joint mediation efforts with the United States of America between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Ukraine, which resulted in the completion of a new exchange for the second day in a row, which included 300 prisoners from each side, with a total of 600 prisoners and a total of 1,000 prisoners within two days, thus bringing the total number of prisoners exchanged between the two countries through these mediations to 5,955 prisoners.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its thanks to Russia and Ukraine for their cooperation with the Emirati-American mediation efforts, reflecting their appreciation for the efforts aimed at finding solutions to the crisis between the two countries.

The Ministry also indicated that the total mediation carried out by the UAE during the crisis reached 20, which reflects the depth of the relations between the UAE and the two countries, and embodies its role as a trusted mediator in supporting diplomatic and humanitarian solutions.

The Ministry reiterated its emphasis that the UAE will continue to support all efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political settlement of the crisis, in a way that contributes to alleviating the humanitarian repercussions and enhancing opportunities for peace, stability and prosperity regionally and internationally.

It is worth noting that the UAE hosted two rounds of tripartite talks between the Russian Federation, the Republic of Ukraine, and the United States of America in Abu Dhabi, which embodies its approach based on promoting dialogue and international cooperation, and reflects international confidence in its role in facilitating dialogue and providing a supportive environment for constructive talks.
