Abdullah bin Zayed meets with the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs in Austria

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Beate Meinel Reisinger, during his working visit to Vienna.

During the meeting, they reviewed the friendly and cooperative relations between the UAE and the Republic of Austria, and ways to develop and enhance them in a way that achieves the common interests of the two friendly countries.

The two sides discussed opportunities to expand the horizons of joint cooperation in a number of vital fields, including economic, trade, investment, cultural, industrial, and the energy sector, within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership that brings together the two countries.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the depth of relations between the UAE and the Republic of Austria, noting that the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries provided an important platform to push bilateral cooperation towards broader horizons of growth and development in various sectors.

The meeting discussed the brutal Iranian missile attacks on the UAE and countries in the region.

The two sides reviewed ways to enhance the efforts of the international community to consolidate the foundations of regional security and stability, and support the aspirations of the peoples of the region for development and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State Saeed Mubarak Al-Hajri and Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability Affairs Abdullah Al-Alaa.
