The UAE expresses its solidarity with Bahrain and Qatar and condemns the treacherous Iranian attack

The UAE condemned in the strongest terms the treacherous Iranian attack that targeted buildings in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain housing members of the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces participating within the Unified Maritime Operations Center of the Unified Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that this attack represents a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Bahrain and a threat to its security and stability. It also constitutes a dangerous escalation that affects the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the security of the region.

The UAE expressed its full solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly State of Qatar, stressing its support for everything that would protect the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and sisterly and friendly countries, and stressing the need to stop the escalation and adhere to the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations in order to preserve the security and stability of the region.
