Iranian attacks cannot be accepted under any justification or pretext

The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, confirmed today, Saturday, that Iranian attacks on Qatari territory “cannot be accepted under any justification or pretext.”
This came in a phone call that the Qatari official received today from Egyptian Minister Badr Abdel Ati, according to the Qatar News Agency.
During the call, they reviewed developments in the military escalation in the region and its dangerous repercussions on regional and international security and stability, and ways to resolve all disputes through peaceful means.
The Qatari Prime Minister pointed out that his country “has always been keen to distance itself from regional conflicts, and has sought to facilitate dialogue between the Iranian side and the international community.”
He also stressed the need to immediately stop any escalatory actions, return to the dialogue table, give priority to the language of reason and wisdom, and work to contain the crisis in a way that preserves the security of the region.
For his part, Abdel-Ati called for “reducing the escalation, bringing the voice of reason to justice, and returning to negotiations and diplomatic means to avoid more chaos.”
