Monitoring and intercepting a number of air targets

The official spokesman for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense, Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, announced the monitoring and interception of a number of hostile air targets within the airspace of the State of Kuwait at dawn on Wednesday.

The Ministry said in a press statement reported by the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, that these hostile targets were dealt with and destroyed, noting that this resulted in shrapnel falling as a result of the interception operation on a residential house, which resulted in human and material injuries.

The statement affirmed that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces will continue to perform their duties and take all necessary measures to protect its lands, people and residents, in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability.
