A march targets two fuel tanks at Kuwait Airport, and the competent authorities deal with a fire at the site

The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Kuwait announced on Sunday that a drone targeted two fuel tanks at Kuwait International Airport belonging to the Kuwait Aircraft Fueling Company (KAFCO), which led to the outbreak of a large fire at the site.

The Kuwait News Agency quoted the authority’s official spokesman, Abdullah Al-Rajhi, as saying that according to initial reports, the damage is only material and there are no losses of life. He explained that the competent authorities immediately began implementing the approved emergency procedures, as fire brigades and concerned authorities deal with the fire, while all competent authorities are present at the site of the accident.

The General Fire Force in Kuwait announced that fire brigades are currently working to combat two fuel tank fires belonging to Kuwait International Airport and the headquarters of the Public Institution for Social Insurance to control them and prevent their spread.
