Trump was not pleased with the election of Mojtaba Khamenei as Supreme Leader of Iran

US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he was not happy with the election of Mojtaba Khamenei as Supreme Leader of Iran, succeeding his father, who was assassinated at the beginning of the US-Israeli attack on the Islamic Republic.

The New York Post quoted Trump as saying in response to a question about his next steps after the election of Khamenei Jr., “I will not tell you. I am not happy.”
