Israel announces targeting Iranian military sites and air runways

Yesterday, Monday, Israel announced the implementation of new strikes targeting Iranian military sites in several cities, including Tehran and Isfahan.

The Israeli army said that a command center belonging to the Quds Force, the external arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, was bombed in the capital, Tehran, in addition to a missile manufacturing and storage site in the city of Isfahan.

He added that his fighters also targeted additional sites around the city of Shiraz in southern Iran, stressing that the strikes had been completed.

The Israeli army also announced that it bombed six important Iranian military airfields during the night, which led to the destruction of a number of aircraft, including those belonging to the Quds Force and Iranian combat helicopters.

He explained that the aim of these strikes is to weaken Iran’s ability to deploy its air force and hinder its efforts to supply its allies with weapons in the region.

Later, the Israeli army announced the start of a new, massive wave of strikes in Tehran.
