The Head of State receives a phone call from the President of Gambia, during which he condemned the Iranian attacks against the UAE

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from Adama Barrow, President of the Republic of The Gambia, during which he condemned the blatant Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and a number of countries in the region, stressing that they represent a serious violation of the sovereignty of countries and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.

Barrow expressed Gambia’s solidarity with the UAE towards all the measures it takes to preserve its security and the safety of its lands and citizens.

For his part, His Highness President Barrow thanked Gambia’s position in support of the UAE.

The two sides stressed the need to immediately stop military actions and return to serious dialogue and the diplomatic path to address the outstanding issues in order to avoid further escalation in the region and to preserve regional and international security and stability.
