“Gulf General” losses will increase to 120.48 million riyals in 2025

The losses of the Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Company increased in 2025 by 27.9% to 120.48 million riyals, compared to losses of 94.2 million riyals in 2024.
According to the company’s statement on the website "Saudi Arabia trading"The net loss before Zakat for the current year amounted to -116,988 million riyals, compared to a loss of -88,592 million riyals for the previous year.
The company attributed the worsening losses to the following reasons:
-Increase (losses) from insurance services by -50,907 million riyals, i.e. an increase of 86.85%.
-Increase in reinsurance contract expenses by -569 million SAR, an increase of 1.75% compared to last year.
-A decrease in net investment income by -7,552 million riyals compared to the previous year, a change of -50.12%.
-An increase in other operating expenses by -8,437 million riyals, a change of 78.96%.
