Kuwait.. 6 electrical lines were out of service as a result of falling shrapnel while confronting drones

The official spokeswoman for the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy in Kuwait, Engineer Fatima Johar Hayat, announced that 6 overhead lines for transmitting electrical power in several locations in the country were out of service, as a result of falling shrapnel resulting from the process of confronting a number of drones, which caused a temporary vibration in the electrical network and a partial and limited outage of electrical power in various areas of the country.
She explained that the specialized emergency teams began their work in coordination with the security authorities to assess the damage and implement the necessary repair work, and electricity was restored to the affected areas at record speed, in accordance with the highest safety standards and approved technical procedures.
Hayat confirmed that the electrical and water situation is still under control, and that the electricity production and water desalination and transmission systems are working with high efficiency, with follow-up and monitoring continuing around the clock to ensure the stability and continuity of services without interruption.
She called on citizens and residents to ensure accuracy and obtain information from official sources only, stressing that the Ministry will continue to keep public opinion updated with any developments.
