The Head of State discusses with the Egyptian President the relations of the two countries and regional developments

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, met today with his brother Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, as part of a fraternal visit he is making to Egypt. During the meeting, the two sides discussed fraternal relations and various paths of cooperation between the two countries and the possibilities of strengthening them, especially in the development fields in a way that serves their mutual interests and brings growth and prosperity to their brotherly peoples, stressing their keenness to continue fraternal consultation on various issues in light of the common challenges witnessed by the region.
The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues and topics of common interest, most notably the developments in the Middle East region, with their serious repercussions on regional and international security and stability, stressing the importance of working to strengthen the causes of peace and stability, which is a main pillar for achieving development and a more prosperous future for all the peoples of the region.
His Highness the Head of State arrived in the Arab Republic of Egypt earlier today, where His Highness was greeted upon his arrival at Cairo International Airport by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
During the visit, His Highness was accompanied by a delegation that included His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of ministers and officials.
