The Vice President’s Athletics Cup Championship begins in Dubai on April 4
Dubai, March 12 / WAM / The UAE Athletics Federation announced the approval of organizing the Vice President’s Cup Championship for the youth and cubs stages over the course of next April 4 and 5 at the Dubai Police Officers Club.
In this regard, the Federation confirmed that the tournament falls within the agenda of the current season, and contributes to the discovery of talent. Among its goals are to enhance the capabilities of the national teams with the best promising elements, and establish a strong base for the national teams.
He noted the importance of the tournament before our national team participates in the Arab Championship competitions scheduled in Tunisia during the period from April 26 to 30 next.
Jamila Abdullah Ali, member of the Federation’s Board of Directors and Head of the Protection Committee, said that the Federation’s technical committees are playing their role in making all arrangements for the launch of the tournament and player registration processes, in preparation for approving the final lists participating in the competitions according to the established conditions.
