Gold opens lower as liquidity shifts away from metals

Gold prices fell at the opening of trading today, Monday, and fell briefly below $5,000 per ounce, while silver also witnessed a decline, while the market is witnessing major fluctuations affecting the prices of precious metals.
It reached The price of gold in spot transactions was $5,016, while gold futures contracts fell by approximately 1% to record $5,019, by 10:35 GMT.
In other precious metals, the price of silver fell by approximately 1%, reaching $80 per ounce, continuing its losses from the previous session.
On the other hand, the Oil prices are above $100 per barrel due to the US war with Iran, shifting liquidity away from precious metals.
