The Head of State receives a phone call from the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, during which they discussed the developments taking place in the region and their repercussions on its security and stability.

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from his brother, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during which they discussed the developments taking place in the region following the escalating military actions and their serious repercussions on regional and international security and stability.

The call also addressed the blatant and ongoing Iranian attacks targeting countries in the region and the violation they represent of the sovereignty of these countries and international conventions and norms.

The two sides stressed the need to immediately stop the military escalation, which constitutes a threat to stability and security in the region and the world as a whole, stressing the importance of serious dialogue and diplomatic means in addressing the region’s issues in a way that preserves regional peace and security.
