“Dubai Basketball” achieves a major victory over Crvena Zvezda

The Dubai Basketball team presented one of its strongest performances this season, after achieving a major victory over the Serbian team Crvena Zvezda, 114 to 91, in the third round of the Adriatic League competitions, recording its highest score of points during the current season against one of the most prominent clubs in Serbia.

The Dubai team imposed its control over the course of the match since the first quarter, after scoring 37 points during the first ten minutes compared to 25 for its opponent, benefiting from accurate shooting and offensive fluidity, with Dignan Musa excelling in leading the scoring at the beginning of the match.

Despite the attempts of the Krvina Zvezda team to reduce the gap in the second quarter, the Dubai team continued its superiority thanks to the balanced offensive performance and defensive pressure, ending the first half with a lead of 63 to 43.

In the second half, the team continued its advantage, expanding the difference to 30 points in the third quarter, before entering the final quarter with a score of 90 to 63, then maintaining its offensive form to exceed the 100-point barrier five minutes before the end, and deciding the match with a score of 114 to 91.

The match witnessed remarkable collective brilliance, as 6 players from the Dubai team scored high numbers of points, led by Dwayne Bacon with 21 points, followed by Dejanan Musa with 18 points, then Mfiondu Kabengeli with 15 points, Costa Kondic with 14 points, Philip Petrushev with 13 points, while Davis Bertans scored 11 points.

The Dubai Basketball Team is looking forward to the next challenge when it faces the Serbian team, Partizan, the defending champion of the Adriatic League, in the European Basketball League.
