Gold records an increase of more than 1%

Capitals, June 15 / WAM / Gold rose by more than 1% today, Monday.

Gold rose in instant transactions by 1.8% to $4,297.42 per ounce by 00:10 GMT, recording its highest level since June 9.

US gold futures for August delivery rose 1.9% to reach $4,318.10 an ounce.
