The unemployment rate in Australia rose to 4.3% in February

Canberra, March 19 / WAM / The unemployment rate in Australia rose to 4.3% last February.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics explained that the number of unemployed people increased by about 35,000 people during the month of February, which contributed to an increase in the unemployment rate by 0.2 percentage points.
Bureau of Statistics data indicate that employment rose by about 49,000 people, driven by an increase in part-time jobs of 79,000 jobs, while full-time jobs decreased by about 30,000 jobs.
