Qatar announces the death of 6 people in a helicopter crash in the country’s territorial waters

The Qatari Ministry of Interior announced on Sunday the death of six people in a helicopter crash in the country’s territorial waters, noting that searches are still ongoing for a seventh person who was on board.

She added, “As part of the ongoing search and rescue operations for missing persons following the helicopter crash in the country’s territorial waters, search efforts resulted in finding (6) out of (7) people on board, and the deaths of those found were confirmed, while the specialized teams are still continuing their intensive operations to find the last missing person.”

The Ministry extended its sincere condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the deceased, asking the Almighty God to cover them with His vast mercy, to dwell them in His spacious gardens, and to inspire their families and loved ones with patience and solace.
