Emaar Properties contributes AED 100 million to the “Limit of Life” campaign

Emaar Properties announced its contribution of 100 million dirhams in support of the “Have a Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” on February 13, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, to raise at least one billion dirhams to be invested in combating child hunger in the world.
This contribution falls within the context of broad community interaction with the “End of Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, which falls under the umbrella of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives” Foundation, and comes as a continuation of the previous Ramadan campaigns that were launched in the holy month under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and received great participation from the Emirati community.
The “End of Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation came in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Save the Children, the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation, and Action Against Hunger, and focuses in particular on children who face the most dangerous forms of hunger in the most vulnerable communities, especially in areas of disasters, crises, and conflicts, where 5 children under the age of five die from malnutrition and hunger in the world every minute.

A blessed initiative
Mohammed Ali Rashid Al Abbar, founder and managing director of Emaar Properties, praised the great goals of the “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation, and its endeavor to contribute effectively to international efforts to confront a dangerous global phenomenon represented by the presence of millions of children on the brink of death from hunger, due to several crises faced by less fortunate communities in the world.
He stressed that the “End Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation establishes a qualitatively new phase in combating child hunger in the most needy communities around the world, through its clear vision of the tools to mobilize support for this urgent humanitarian issue.
Al-Abbar said: “We are honored to be a contributor to this campaign, and to continue our support for the charitable and humanitarian initiatives launched by the UAE. There is no doubt that our participation in the (Have a Life) campaign to save 5 million children from starvation expresses our great appreciation for this blessed humanitarian initiative.”
The campaign seeks to combat child hunger in the world, which is considered one of the most serious global challenges that affect the right to life itself, and threatens the foundations of growth, health and stability in the most fragile societies, which makes confronting it a humanitarian and moral priority that cannot be postponed.
It is noteworthy that the “Have Life” campaign to save 5 million children from starvation achieved exceptional success by exceeding its targets before the end of the holy month, as contributions to the campaign reached more than 2.822 billion dirhams, with the participation of 44,208 contributors, which included prominent individuals, companies, and charitable and humanitarian institutions.
