Peaches and lemons are in the lead…fruit prices rose in Saudi Arabia during February

Data released by Fruits11 items rose, 4 items decreased, and 3 items remained stable on a monthly basis compared to January 2026.

According to the bulletin of average prices of goods and services for February 2026, Lebanese peaches jumped by 10.8% to 18.2 riyals per kilo, becoming the highest among the list of fruits, followed by African lemons, which rose by 10.8% to 18.2 riyals per kilo. It rose by 5.4% in February, bringing the price of a kilo to 9.1 riyals.
Indian pomegranates also rose to 13.9 riyals per kilo, by 4.8%, Lebanese grapes to 16.6 riyals per kilo, by 2.2%, and local watermelon (honeydew) to 3.7 riyals per kilo, by 2.2%.
Citrus fruits and imported
in a group Citrus fruits, the price of oranges (Egyptian Abu Surra) decreased by 2.5% to 5.2 riyals per kilo, while Pakistani tangerines decreased by 4.5% to 6.6 riyals per kilo. As for tropical fruits, Philippine bananas (Sharbatli) rose to 5.9 riyals per kilo, a decrease of 1.9%, while Pakistani mangoes fell to 12.7 riyals per kilo, a decrease of 3.8%.
Apples and pears declined
The prices of US red apples decreased by 2.6%, as the price per kilo reached 8.8 riyals in February compared to 9 riyals in the previous January, while yellow apples fell by 2.2% to 8.8 riyals per kilo.
On the other hand, Lebanese pears rose slightly to 12.5 riyals per kilo, while Turkish plums decreased by 0.5% to 14.3 riyals per kilo.
Grapes Variation And dates
Local grapes stabilized during the month of February to record 14.8 riyals per kilo, while Lebanese grapes rose by 2.2% to 16.6 riyals per kilo, while local cantaloupes jumped to 4.9 riyals per kilo, by 8.1%.
In the date group, Rutab dates rose by 1.7% to 14.8 riyals per kilo, while local figs decreased by 7.6% to 17.5 riyals per kilo, and Al-Ikhlas dates (Maknouz) recorded relatively stability at 15.6 riyals per kilo.
