Trump is ready to hit Iran harder if it does not accept defeat

White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said on Wednesday that US President Donald Trump is ready to strike Iran more forcefully if it does not acknowledge its “military defeat.”
She added during a press briefing, “President Trump is not bluffing, and he is ready to launch a brutal war. Iran must not miscalculate again.”
She continued, saying, “If Iran does not accept the status quo, and if it does not realize that it has suffered a military defeat, and will continue to do so, then President Trump will work to ensure that it is dealt a more severe blow than any previous strike.”
She added: “President Trump does not make empty threats and is ready to unleash hell on Iran.”
She continued: “Any acts of violence from now on will be the result of the Iranian regime’s refusal to reach an agreement and come to terms with the fact that it has been defeated.”
She said: “The Iranian regime has begun to search for a way out, and it knows that it is being crushed and its ability to defend its lands is declining… We would like to have a person in a position of leadership within the Iranian regime who is friendlier, more responsive, and willing to work with us.”
Levitt confirmed that talks with Iran are still ongoing. “The talks are continuing. They are productive, as the president said on Monday, and they continue to be,” she added.
As the joint US-Israeli war on Iran enters its fourth week, many countries, including Pakistan, Turkey and Egypt, are making efforts to mediate possible negotiations to end the war, but ambiguity still remains regarding the location and date of these talks.
A senior Iranian official told Reuters today that Tehran is still studying an American proposal to end the war, despite an initial negative response, which indicates that Iran has not categorically rejected the proposal yet.
