المملكة: 360 organizations and 32,000 volunteers provide two million hours of work in the health sector
I registered Ministry of Health During the year 2025, exceptional digital leaps in community participation were achieved, achieving two million working hours with the participation of 32 thousand volunteers, and financial donations exceeding 84 million riyals through the “Shifa” platform.
Increasing numbers of volunteers and non-profit organizations
Recent statistical data revealed that the numbers of volunteers in Non-profit health organizations tripled compared to 2023, jumping from 8,800 to 32,500 volunteers by the end of this year.
Indicators showed an increase in the number of non-profit organizations under the Ministry’s supervision to 360 organizations, with a growth rate of 80%, which confirms the growing role of the third sector in providing Health and preventive initiatives.
Medical records indicated that the percentage of voluntary blood donations had reached 99%, an increase of 8% over last year, while the female donation attraction index recorded a remarkable jump of 72% to reach 17.2%.
The official figures showed that the health endowment through the “Shifa” platform achieved steady growth by 23%, exceeding the barrier of 84 million riyals, to reflect the rise in Direct community support for therapeutic services.
