Sharjah, 26 March / WAM / Arada has completed construction work on five new residential complexes in the Naseej neighbourhood, the cultural heart of the integrated Aljada community, with a total sales value of 35 billion dirhams in Sharjah, and the process of handing over the homes to the new owners was immediately initiated.

The 482 residential units in the Sukoon buildings are surrounded by cultural, artistic and commercial facilities, including the Performing Arts Center designed by the famous Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

Sukoon’s five buildings feature modern designs and include a variety of residential units, all equipped with standard smart home technology. Its residents will benefit from a range of sports clubs, swimming pools, children’s play areas and spaces designated for family barbecues.

The Naseej neighborhood also includes the Vida Aljada complex, which consists of a hotel and luxury residences under this hotel brand, in addition to a variety of restaurants and cafes. It is characterized by its simple and contemporary design with exceptional service facilities. These two locations are connected by a square full of vitality and activity and a wide pedestrian street that includes small shops, cafes, libraries, fashion outlets and outdoor kiosks.

Ahmed Al Khashibi, CEO of Arada Group, said that this new achievement reflects the group’s continued commitment to delivering its projects according to the specified time plans and its ability to maintain momentum in one of the largest and most prominent integrated communities in the region, pointing out that the group is entering a new phase of successive deliveries in Aljada, which includes the completion of all construction work in the Naseej neighborhood and the adjacent Nasaq complex, coinciding with progress towards the completion of the master plan for the entire project, pointing out that the Aljada currently hosts more than 20,000 people.

With the completion of the five Sukoon buildings, the total number of completed residential units in Aljada has now reached more than 8,200, and in the coming weeks the master developer is also expected to announce the completion of work on the Vida Aljada Hotel and the Vida Residences complex, in addition to the two Teatro Residences residential buildings.

It is noteworthy that the integrated Aljada community extends over 24 million square feet, and is considered the largest mixed-use project in the history of Sharjah. This modern destination includes a group of major residential neighborhoods, in addition to a variety of stores, hospitality facilities, entertainment, sports, health care, commercial facilities, and educational institutions, within a carefully designed green master plan that is suitable for pedestrians.
