The prices of iron and electrical wires in Saudi Arabia increased within a month

The monthly bulletin revealed The General Authority for Statistics saw the prices of rebar during the month of February compared to the previous January, with the exception of the increase of rebar (6 mm national), which decreased by 0.3% to record 3958 riyals per ton, compared to 3969.1 riyals in January.
Steel (8 mm national) recorded an increase of 0.7% to reach 2651 riyals per ton, and iron (10 mm national) increased by 0.7% to 2696.3 riyals per ton.
The larger sizes witnessed a more pronounced increase, as iron (12 mm national) jumped by 3% to 2626.5 riyals per ton, iron (14 mm national) rose by 2.9% to reach 2629.2 riyals per ton, and iron (16 mm national) rose by 3% to record 2628.3 riyals per ton, while iron increased (18 national mm) by 2.9% to 2634.6 riyals per ton.
Rise in wire prices
continued Pricesof electrical wires and cables in Saudi Arabia increased during the month of February, as the 2.5 mm national electrical wire rose by 1.5% to record 1.4 riyals per meter in February, and the 4 mm national wire rose by 2.5% to reach 2 riyals per meter in February, and the 6 mm national wire rose by 3.7%, recording 3.1 riyals per meter in February, compared to 2.8 riyals per meter in January.
Prices Electrical cables
At the cable level, the price of the 10 mm national cable increased by 1.7% to 24.5 riyals per meter in February, compared to 21.6 riyals per meter in January, and the 25 mm national cable rose by 2.5% to reach 54.5 riyals per meter in February, compared to 47.7 riyals per meter in January, and the 35 mm national cable increased by 2.8% to record 73.4 riyals per meter in February, compared to 71.5 riyals per meter in January. The 50 mm national cable also rose by 3.0% to 103.2 riyals per meter in February, compared to 100.1 riyals per meter in January, and the 70 mm national cable rose by 1.8%, recording 150.1 riyals per meter in February, compared to 147.4 riyals per meter in January.
The price of the 95 mm national cable increased by 1.2% to reach 200.2 riyals per meter in February, compared to 197.9 riyals per meter in January, and the 120 mm national cable rose by 1.1% to 245.4 riyals per meter in February, compared to 242.6 riyals per meter in January, and the 300 mm national cable jumped by 1.9% to reach 614.3 riyals per meter in February, compared to 602.8 riyals per meter in January.
Aluminum and wood
The price of aluminum (Saudi side shavings) rose by 2.3%, recording 94.5 riyals per meter in February, compared to 92.3 riyals per meter in January.
In wood, Chilean wood decreased by 0.5%, recording 1,523.9 riyals per cubic meter, Romanian wood stabilized at 1,508.3 riyals, and African teak wood fell at 6,743.5 riyals, while plywood fell. Indonesian rose slightly by 0.3% to 3051.7 riyals per cubic meter.
