The Bahraini Public Prosecution ends investigations into cells that communicated with the Revolutionary Guard and refers 14 defendants to trial

The Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Bahrain ended its extensive investigations into terrorist cells collaborating with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to carry out hostile acts against the Kingdom of Bahrain and ordered their referral to criminal trial, in a statement published on Thursday.

According to the statement, investigations resulted in identifying the person managing this account, as it was revealed that she was communicating with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and communicating with its members to help carry out hostilities against Bahrain. This included publishing maps and pictures of vital sites and installations inside the country, coupled with statements indicating the possibility of targeting them militarily.

It also sent pictures and coordinates of a number of important and vital locations in the country via an encrypted application for the same purpose.

It was also proven that it published visual content and pictures of the places that were subjected to aggression, intending to glorify, encourage and promote those actions.

In addition to spreading false news and malicious rumors that would suggest targeting some vital sites, and causing injuries and deaths among citizens and residents, with the intention of causing panic among people.

The Public Prosecution in Bahrain began its extensive and intensive investigations and interrogated the defendants, some of whom admitted in detail what was attributed to them. It also listened to witness statements and ordered an examination of the technical devices used in committing the aforementioned incidents, which concluded that the defendants had committed the crimes attributed to them.
