The UAE strongly condemns the targeting of the home of the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region

Abu Dhabi, 29 March / WAM / The UAE condemned in the strongest terms the attack that targeted the home of His Excellency Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, in Dohuk Governorate, expressing its regret that this sinful attack occurred.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with His Excellency the President of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region and his family, and with the Iraqi government and the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government in these circumstances. It also expressed its strong condemnation of these criminal acts, stressing its permanent rejection of all forms of violence aimed at destabilizing security and stability.
