المملكة: Discipline from the first day.. “Education” automatically monitors students’ absences and notifies parents

Received SchoolsToday, Sunday, more than six and a half million students, male and female, in various stages of public education, completed Second semester, amid firm emphasis from the Ministry of Education on activating automatic monitoring of absences through the “Noor” electronic system, to ensure discipline from the first moment.
This comprehensive return to school comes after the end of the blessed Eid al-Fitr vacation, which extended for about 16 days, beginning with it a decisive educational phase that requires combined family and school efforts to ensure that the educational process proceeds regularly and with complete commitment.
The Ministry of Education stressed the importance of school discipline from the first moments of the semester. bell, stressing to all educational and administrative staff and students the necessity of serious commitment to attendance and not to be complacent in performing the educational mission.
Activating daily monitoring of absence
The Ministry revealed its directives to school administrations on the necessity of activating daily and direct monitoring of cases of absence and documenting them automatically, to ensure data accuracy and follow up on attendance and dismissal in an accurate and transparent manner via the “Noor” platform.
It indicated that the approved systems require schools to notify parents. Immediately matters to any cases of absence recorded by their children, through the official means of communication associated with the system, with the aim of strengthening partnership and joint oversight between the school and the family.
It is noteworthy that the remaining period of the second semester will be completely devoid of the prolonged school vacations that students have become accustomed to during the past years since the approval of this type of vacation in the calendar.
