A series of powerful explosions sounded in Tehran

A series of new explosions were heard in the Iranian capital Tehran, according to Agence France-Presse correspondents.

Two powerful explosions occurred a short while ago in northern Tehran, while air defenses were activated in the northeast of the Iranian capital.
